Spring has sprung and we are now looking forward to our June Showcase at the Spa. This is our opportunity to show the community what we do. It is free and open to the public and it’s always lovely to see all our groups there – whether active or passive.
Beacon training sessions:
Our database has been up and running now for several months and can be accessed by all members for the most up-to-date information on groups, Spa meetings, trips, etc. We are therefore no longer publishing the detailed Group Activities List which was always out-of-date as soon as it was issued.
Members can also update their own information and renew their membership there when the time comes without involving the Membership Secretary.
For those members who are unsure of how to access this information or need help in doing so, you can drop in to our u3a Centre on:
Friday April 19 between 10 – 12 noon
and/or Friday April 26 between 10 – 12 noon
For those members who are not on-line, contact the Group Coordinator at 07746 252057 for group information or the Membership Secretary at 07876 571884 for membership information.
Spa meetings: Our next Spa meeting will be held on Monday, April 15th, 10.30 – 12 noon with a talk entitled ‘Botanical Endeavours, Captain Cook’
Monday 20th May ‘All Things Chocolate’
Monday 17th June Showcase Event
Monday 15th July Summer Concert
Monday 2nd September ‘Walking the Wolds’
Monday 7th October Co-op Estate Planning
Monday 18th November AGM
Monday 9th December Christmas Concert
~~~~~~
We are actively looking to fill the following positions in order to keep our u3a running:
If you feel you can help, please do, and full support and training will be given.
